Nico arrived at the shelter just before Christmas in rough shape, and his coat shows signs of the challenges he's faced, including fleas, an ear infection, and possible malnutrition. He’s already been treated for fleas and worms, and we’ve started him on a healthy diet and routine to help him recover. Soon, we’ll ensure he’s up to date on vaccines and neutered. Nico is reported to be house-trained and good with adults, and as we get to know him better, we’ll share more about his personality and needs. 

Update: Nico had his first vet appointment & in addition to his other problems; he also has a skin infection. He is on medications & receiving medicated baths, and he is getting better every day!

We have determined that he needs to be the only dog in the house.
