Cupcake is a 1-year-old Bassett/Dachshund mix who is currently pregnant. She was surrendered to the shelter on July 20, 2024, and is feeling confused and unhappy in her new environment.

Previously an outside dog, Cupcake is not housebroken and is very hyper. Despite her high energy, she is incredibly loving and seems to long for human companionship and comfort. We suspect her hyperactivity is due to her strong desire to be with a person.

We will get Cupcake to see the vet as soon as possible to learn more about her health and her pregnancy. She is a sweet dog who just needs a patient and caring home.
